We are Bretton Kyle, a NYC-based rock trio. We blend classic rock with modern takes on punk, blues, indie, and pop influences. If you like the idea of heavy guitars and vocals that sound like if Yungblud met Harry Styles with a rhythm section reminiscent of The Black Keys meets The Strokes, then you’ll love our sound. We’re a little weird yet familiar somehow, raw grit and lyrical grace that will have you making that stank face and head nodding to the beat, riding the rhythm and feeling it in your neck.
How did we meet? Two years ago. On a Saturday night. At a jam session. In Times Square. Listen, when each member of this band left their small town to relocate to NYC to pursue music, it was for one thing only. This. In rock and love, our motto. And we can’t wait to share it with you.
If you are new to us and don’t know where to start, the newest YouTube videos of our live shows - check out “Rabid Rabbit,” “Wonderland” and “Set Your Spirit Free” - highlight our electric and raw sound: Led Zeppelin inspired guitar riffs from frontman Bretton, heavy metal and punk influences on the drums by Nick, and the human jukebox, our bassist RJ, who lays down rhythmic complexities that sound both familiar and new to round out our songs - together creating a wall of sound from only three instruments.
